Is this an actual physical phone?+

Yes. Each account gets its own physical Android phone, kept and maintained by Thumb. The operator has physical access to it, and it’s factory-reset before anyone else uses it. Cellular service is rolling out; other platforms are under consideration.

Which agents will work with Thumb?+

Anything that speaks MCP over HTTP, or can make HTTP requests. The docs have setup guides for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf and Claude Desktop, and for the Claude and OpenAI APIs. A CLI, Python and TypeScript SDKs, webhooks, n8n, secure ADB, Appium, and computer-use adapters are on the roadmap.

What about WhatsApp, SMS, and calls?+

Mobile apps and cellular workflows are central to the plan. You’ll connect your own app accounts. Cellular service (phone numbers, SMS and calls) is rolling out, and app compatibility will be confirmed during onboarding.

When can I get a phone?+

We’re onboarding a small private beta now, by hand. Join the list and tell us what you want your agent to do. Once you’re approved, you request a phone from your dashboard. There’s no payment today.

How much will it cost?+

Pricing is still being worked out. We’ll share the rental price and included connectivity before you commit to anything.

Your early-access data

GETRYK, which operates Thumb, collects your email address and any use case you share, plus your signup time and consent to early-access emails. We use these to review interest and contact you about availability and onboarding. Giving them is voluntary, but we need your email to add you to the list.

Please don’t include passwords, private messages, or other sensitive data in the form. No advertising cookies or third-party analytics are installed. With your consent, Thumb records first-party page-view counts (path, referrer host, and a daily rotating visitor hash, deleted after 90 days) and remembers that choice in your browser. Raw IP addresses are not stored. You can change this anytime via Cookie preferences.

Your entry is stored on our server in France, and our email providers (Resend, Google and Namecheap, in the United States) handle the emails about it. To see, correct or delete your data, or to leave the list, email hello@thumb.run. You can also complain to a privacy regulator. The Privacy Policy has the details, and the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy apply once you use Thumb.
